Compass and Compasito in Every School of Georgia

A Project named - “Compass and Compasito in Every School of Georgia” - will take place during 15 July – 15 October 2010.

The project is organised by the NGO “Human Rights Education Centre” with financial assistance of the European Youth Foundation.

The main idea of this event is to produce 2500 CDs with PDF files of “Compass”, “Compasito” and the CoE Manuals on Education on Democratic Citizenship in Georgian, Armenian and Azeri languages, disseminate them in every public schools of Georgia and conduct one day trainings in major cities and regions of Georgia for teachers and local youth NGO representatives on a basis of the Council of Europe manuals “Compass” and “Compasito”.

Organizers hope that the project will assist to establish a non-formal education methodology for teaching school students and youth on their rights and freedoms and as a final result it will assist to the implementation of their rights.
